Up for the Cup ?

Stamford Bridge
So after extra-time The Blues march on to Wembley in April with a Semi-Final against Southampton now newly managed by former Chelsea striker Mark Hughes. He was supposed to appear on Chelsea TV last week for the Barcelona game but decided to take a new job instead.

On the BBC tv coverage yesterday Chelsea Legend Petr Cech was a pundit and called a Chelsea win after extra-time over Leicester City. So hoping he returns for the semi.

Congrats to Blues Under-18s for winning the Premier League Cup with 2 -0 win over Spurs and the Ladies won their Cup Qtr-Final with a 3-0 win away to Liverpool, next up Man City or Sunderland !

Visit today to Cemetery & Bridge

Next to Stamford Bridge

*** ***
Following on from yesterday's post about CST Tour tomorrow, I visited today to check up and take some photos below - bottom right is former Chelsea boss Bobby Campbell's grave may not be part of the Rick's tour. When it comes to laying the wreath at the Mears' grave there maybe a problem for group standings ( go to my Twitter stream for photo ).

Also visited the Bridge for some photos to use for my podcast.
Till the next one !

Brompton Cemetery - CFC 113th Birthday

Sunny afternoon at the Bridge
"This Saturday, 10th March, marks the 113th anniversary of the founding of Chelsea Football Club. To mark the occasion, Chelsea Supporters Trust has organised a guided tour of Chelsea F.C. related graves with club historian Rick Glanvill, followed by wreath laying at the Mears family memorial." - CST

Been part of this CST project/crew for a few years, there is now a new leaflet guide to download on the club website.
